NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. One valid entry per contestant.
Prize
(14) Prize Winners will receive Gray & Holt Dry Goods Store coupon redeemable for any shirt in inventory (in Athens store or online at www.grayandholtclothing.com ) in any size. (ARV: $21.55).
WHNT reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Who Can Enter
You must be 13 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Entrants must be legal residents of Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan counties in Alabama and Lincoln County in Tennessee.
Employees of WHNT, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
How To Enter
The sweepstakes will begin when the online sweepstakes entry form is posted on www.whnt.com on or about Monday, August 16, 2010 and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (C.S.T.) on Friday, November 26, 2010
Enter by visiting GRAY & HOLT “FREE SOUTHERN TEE” CONTEST official registration page on the WHNT website (www.whnt.com) and completing all of the required information and following all posted instructions.
How To Win
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
One (1) Prize Winner will be selected weekly each Friday for (14) consecutive weeks in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to date. First drawing to be held on or about Friday, August 20, 2010. Final drawing to be held on or about Friday November 26, 2010.
Winners will be notified by email or phone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected.
WHNT will mail coupon redeemable for (1) free teeshirt to each weekly winner. To claim prize, winner must redeem coupon by December 31, 2010 online at www.grayandholtclothing.com or present coupon at Gray & Holt Dry Goods, 214 West Market Street, Athens, AL 35611 (1-877-599-2427) during regular store hours Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (C.S.T.) or Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
The winner will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) days from the date of notification or he or she will be disqualified and the prize will be awarded to a substitute winner selected at random from among all remaining eligible entries. Minors will need an adult 18 years of age or older to sign a Certificate of Eligibility. After Certification is received at WHNT, the Gray & Holt redeemable coupon will be mailed to winner.
Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by a winner. A winner cannot assign or transfer prizes.
If WHNT cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Privacy and Publicity
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to WHNT the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
WHNT reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
By entering, entrants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges selected by Sponsor(s), which shall be final in all respects, (b) to release Sponsor(s), their corporate parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and promotion agencies and the directors, officers, employees, and agents of each of these entities from any and all liability and claims for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
By entering, entrants agree to the use of entrants’ personal information as described in WHNT’s Privacy Policy located at whnt.com.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, Inc., and/or WHNT. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
Liability Limitations
UPICKEM and WHNT are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail or phone notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
WHNT reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
This contest is hosted by WHNT and officially sponsored by Gray & Holt Dry Goods, Inc.
Prize delivery is the sole responsibility of Gray & Holt Dry Goods. Winners agree to release WHNT from any and all liability and claims for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by failure to deliver prize by the official sponsor.
